Living on a wild farm, working with the land, growing every day.

Meagan Wright & Brendan Bloodnick founded Cedar Gorge Farm in the winter of 2023.

Brendan grew up farming on a small vegetable CSA that utilized horses & people to preform the majority of the work on the farm (Bloodnick Family Farm in Apalachin NY ). With a great appreciation for growing things, he went on to earn a degree in biology from Cornell University and he is now a full time firefighter for the city of Ithaca.

Meagan grew up in a woodsy town in Massachusetts. Her passion for all things plant-related led her to achieve a degree in agriculture from Cornell University and she now works as a manager at a small vegetable CSA farm (West Haven Farm in Ithaca NY).

Together, they care for their land and grow specialty crops in cooperation with other small farms & businesses. Preserving the wildness of the land while farming with organic and ecological practices.
